Steel storage, now in twenty-five colours

Steel storage has spent decades being the thing you hide at the end of the floor. It does not have to be. With twenty-five colours now available across the range, storage can carry the accent colour in a scheme instead of apologising for itself.

The range covers two, three and four-drawer filing cabinets, 1000mm and 2000mm tall two-door cupboards, tambours, and lockers in one, two, four and six-door configurations — enough to plan a full floor of personal and departmental storage from one family of products.

Why we specify it

  • Built to last: a high-grade steel carcass with a tough epoxy powder-coated finish
  • Designed for security: a triple-point locking system protects documents and valuables
  • Adaptable: supplied ready to take internals, so it can be configured around how a team actually files
  • Considered detailing: light textured paint, matching colour doors and discreet handles keep it looking cohesive
  • Thoughtfully engineered: soft protective feet prevent floor damage, which matters on timber and vinyl

Colour as wayfinding

On larger floors we often use storage colour to do a job signage would otherwise have to. A different locker colour per department, or a run of coloured tambours marking the edge of a neighbourhood, helps people orient themselves the moment they step off the lift.

Typical lead time is three to four weeks, so storage rarely sits on the critical path of a fit-out programme. If you are planning a move or a refresh, it is worth deciding the colour early and letting it inform the rest of the palette.
